Festival Central

There are a variety of teams involved at Madness:

Sub-Camp Leaders  (over 21’s)   

Volunteers responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of campers in the sub-camps.  Primary contact for all group leaders with Summer Madness.

 

Venue Managers  (over 21’s)

Volunteers responsible for health and safety within venues, also responsible for dealing with the public within a venue.

 

Event Crew (over 16's)

Volunteers responsible for hosting the venues, and facilitating the entire festival programme.  From organising the youth-work in the kids venue’s to providing security at the late night events.

 

Site Team (0ver 16's)  

Volunteers responsible for the maintenance of facilities on site such as toilets, bins, cook tents.  They are responsible for ensuring that all the venues on-site are fit for use and all technical equipment is functioning correctly

 

Security (Over 21’s)

Trained and vetted volunteers responsible (in conjunction with local police and onsite security) for making sure that the site is kept a safe and secure place for all campers and visitors

 

Admin

Volunteer team responsible for seeing you safely through registration.

 

Prayer Ministry (Over 18’s)

We have a team of folk who assist with the ministry through prayer during the event. Special training sessions are arranged in the Spring for all of those taking part and at least one preparation session must be attended by anyone seeking to join the team. Attendance at these training events are open to all and does not guarantee you a place on the MTP team.

 

Hospitality

Responsible for looking after visitors and guests to the festival

 

Catering

Responsible for feeding all volunteer staff, i.e. helping to make sandwiches and clear tables and set up tables for lunch etc.

 

Kidztuff

Helping to run the Kids programme for 5-11 years olds – crafts, praise games drama etc

 

Audio / Video Team

If you fancy Helping out with the techie side of producing audio and video clips from around the Festival; seminars and interviews etc then put this as your first choice. We do endeavour to give some training in this area, beforehand - or if you come with bags of experience and kit then we’d love to hear from you as well!.
