Every year we seek to recruit almost 350 volunteer staff and it is through their dedicated efforts that the Festival is able to function safely and efficiently.
So if you’d like to give a little bit back, get under the skin of the event, see
what goes on back-

We need you !
Before you read through the list of teams and description of what’s involved in each let me explain how to apply to be staff at Summer Madness.
- You can email us to ask for the forms (or you can download them from the link above) MOST OF THE TEAMS ARE NOW FULL so it’s best to call the office on 02890673379 if you are still interested in helping.....
- We send them back to you with lots of easy-
to- follow instructions! - We begin to process your Child Protection / Police Check
- You chase up your two referees to submit their references for you
- Time goes by.........and by.....
- Everything comes up roses and hey presto..3 months later we invite you to a secret
initiation ceremony :-
) - We meet up perhaps, on some training days (Child Protection, or Team Training) and get aquainted.
- Sharon in the office calls to complain that you still haven’t sent in your photo!
and that staff donations of £30 or £40 can be sent in anytime :-
) Or you can go directly to this link to make a contribution at any time. - The entire Team SM gathers the week before Madness for a BBQ at the Kings Hall complex.
- Seven days later....we go to work !
