BOOKING PROCESS EXPLAINED...or just give it a whirl & call us if you get stuck!

For now: LEADERS FIRST (campers won’t be able to proceed with registration unless they can ‘pick’ their group/leader from the list)

Basic steps:  register - buy a ticket/pay - go enjoy !

Everyone has to register - before you are able to buy a ticket; but registering doesn’t actually mean that you will be there!  Registration can be done by each individual (whether under or over 18) or by the group leader. We think it would be a good exercise for the young people to register themselves and of course, the names of all of those who register and name you as their leader will be emailed to you directly. You may also ask your group to produce their confirmation of registration to demonstrate that the indeed want to to to SM with you!
HOWEVER, you can still register each of your group members for yourself, but please do try to provide appropriate email addresses for each of them so that we may engage them directly in the preparation process for the Festival.
AND IN ANY CASE: it really helps matters if you as the leader goes ahead and registers FIRST. It means that any of your group who want to register themselves later can ‘pick’ you out in the system as their leader.

You can pay online - We will be using PayPal to accept payments for tickets, please remember that this does not mean that you need a PayPal account ! It’s just one way of accepting Card payments online, you simply use your credit/debit card to complete the transaction.

Or you can be invoiced - Individual bookings or group bookings can be paid for on PayPal or you can have an invoice generated from the booking process and send an cheque or cash in to the office. The invoice is a little bit more flexible in helping us manage sibling discounts or the 1 in 10 free leader place.

Each person in your group has the option to pay online or be invoiced themselves or to have the group leader (you) invoiced.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS AND GROUP LEADER FREEBIES

When you are register and pay for 10 people you will receive one ticket for free!  For this and the equally generous ‘sibling discount’ please choose the payment option of ‘invoicing’ rather than PayPal.

IT MAKES THINGS EASIER IF THE LEADER REGISTERS FIRST..

All you need to do as a leader is register yourself (and your group affiliation) and just leave it at that ! You can then tell your group to go to the website and register themselves naming your as their leader, they can even pay for their own tickets! (in full). You will be emailed with a list of any one who registers with your name as the leader. The young people will also get confirmation of registering and the usual PayPal stuff if they have paid for their own ticket. You could ask them to bring those things to you to confirm that the wish to go with your group (of course you'll be doing the whole permission slip thing anyway).

NON-RESIDENTIAL OPTION

You can purchase a non-residential ticket for only £45 (or Euro 50.00) This will give you access to the entire programme but must be offsite by 12.30am and can re-enter each day at 9.30am

SHORT WEEK-END TICKETS (Friday - Sunday PM)

Some of you have been asking if we could re-introduce the short week-end ticket which can suit very well if you are a first-time camper, have work on Monday morning, or can not go beyond two nights without sleep. So for the astonishingly low price of only £49 you can get a hefty dose of Madness and still be home in time for Sunday supper - if you need to be!

STAFFING AT SUMMER MADNESS

If you intend to be part of the Summer Madness staff team AND also help to lead your own group - then please do add yourself to a group booking in the normal way (as well as doing the staff appliation process). Staff children also need to be added to the relevant youth group bookings - in order to be linked in to the appropriate leader. (However, If the staff parent is the 'leader' and there is no associated group then please do make a 'normal' group booking for you and your family but then refer to the office for ticketing.)

IMPORTANT NOTE NO 4 - FAMILY TICKETS

This ticket will allow you to book parents and children (children must be 18 years or younger) of the same family for a much reduced package price. You are allowed to book a maximum of two parents per family ticket and any number of children (again, children must be 18 years or younger) providing that they are all part of the one immediate family unit. Generous sibling discounts apply when members of the same family are attending with their youth group as displayed in the chart below. In this instance you must email the office with a note of the names and details of the siblings involved. (This is restricted to 18's and under) Children aged 4 years or younger go for free, but they must be registered on a family ticket for our records.
